More Flowers For Me!

My sweet hubby sent me more flowers. We are going to be together again in less than a week...a lot less! I am so excited and a little nervous. I'm only nervous to pack and travel though, not to see Stewart.

You had BETTER be nervous! I've become a FRENZIED KILLING MACHINE here in Georgia!

:-)

I'm excited to see you too!

What? Flowers again! There you go Stewart, making Mandy backhand my chest and saying "Why don't you ever send me flowers like Stewart does to Becca?" I look back with a stupid blank stare and shrug "I dunno."
Wasted effort if you ask me. After being gone that long, you know you are going to get some lovin' anyway. Save the sending flowers for the times when you need to get out of jail for (almost) free card. Now... when you send flowers when you have "Accidentally" Shot the family cat. You stand the risk of getting "You send flowers anyway! What ELSE are you going to do to amend your damage?" Just something to think about the next time you go out and raise the bar for the rest of us husbands. :)

Hmmmm, apparently I need to do some backhanding-of-the-husband to get more flowers. Our 8th anniversary is Tuesday and I have gotten flowers exactly 2 times in that 8 years. Stewart, I need you to have a "talk" with Joe.

I just want to elaborate on a few things...

#1 - In the Army, we do something called PMCS on our vehicles - PMCS stands for "Prentative Maintenance Checks and Services". The idea is that you take care of the vehicle BEFORE it breaks down. I haven't ever sent Becca flowers as a way to get out of trouble - I imagine that I would find them shredded and dispersed all over the front yard, and a big sign pounded into the lawn that says, "Nice Try Jack#@$!"

#2 - I need to do a LOT of preventative maintenance, because I screw up A LOT! Just ask Becca.

#3 - Other guys want advice from me about sending flowers about as much as I want a punch in the face from them - which is a likely combination.

Becca, I am so glad to meet you. Thanks for looking at our blog. Will you be at the BBQ this week or are you leaving before that? I hope to meet you in person soon!

Stewart... Point taken. I can see my foolishness now. I will take note of your reasoning and incorporate it into my routine. Thanks for being a shining example. Dangit! Not only can you kill things with your bare hands you can woo and swoon women too. You are my hero!
