Christmas With Two Children

I love each holiday more and more with two children. There is just more fun to go around and I love it so much.  I loved getting matching pajamas for my boys and having them share this holiday together.  Of course Knox had no idea what was going on but that didn't ruin my fun.
Santa came and set everything up.
 Daddy helped open presents.
 "You'll shoot your eye out!"
The wrapping was more fun than the gifts.

Even Stewart was visited by Santa

 Our cute little Santa baby.
Ready for Church in his new hat.
 Grandpa visited Christmas morning.
Eli with his HAUL.  Spoiled again.  Thanks Santa!  See you next year.

Christmas Eve Fiesta

This year we had a mexican themed Christmas eve dinner and party.  Mike and Ally brought a piñata and it was so fun. I think the kids will expect one every year from now on.

After dinner and the piñata we had the talent show.  Of course all this was just leading up to the main attraction which was OPENING PRESENTS!!!!

The present from Grandpa this year was Lagoon Season passports!  They kids were so excited and so were the moms.

As usual it was a really fun Christmas Eve.  I love our tradition of getting together the night before Christmas and celebrating.  We missed mom so much this year.  Christmas doesn't seem the same with out her.  She loved holidays so much.

Big Brother

Eli has really taken to being a big brother.  He is so cute to Knox and loves him a lot.  He pushed Knox around in this basket and Knox thought it was the greatest thing ever.  Eli was very careful to make sure that it was a soft ride for Knox and that Knox had lots of toys to be entertained. I just love these 2 little buddies.

Santa has come to town!

This year Eli and Knox got a personal visit from Santa Claus!  He came right to our house and visited with the boys.  Knox didn't say much but he didn't cry either which is really all I could have asked for.  Eli was pretty excited and felt special to get to see Santa without having to stand in a line.

Hopefully these boys will get what they want for Christmas instead of the coal that they SOMETIMES deserve. :)

Wind Storm (or crazy weekend in Bountiful)

Davis County had a HUGE wind storm the first.  I love up about 3:00 am and could hear the worst racket.  I looked outside to see our fence partially falling over and the neighbors tramp 1/2 way through it. By the time we got up in the morning the tramp was all the way across our backyard and the fence was laid flat.  My poor little apple tree was crushed under the fence and some cable and phone lines were knocked down.  It was a crazy day with the wind blowing all weekend long.

Stewart and I had to head to Vegas so we dropped Eli off to our neighbor Jodie's house and Knox was already at Grandma Brough's. School was cancelled for Eli so Grandma Brough went to get Eli as soon as she could get over there.

While we were gone the neighbors did a cleanup and secured down anything that could cause more damage in the wind. Even church was canceled!  I felt like we missed out on all the excitement but it did end up being  a nice weekend away with Stewart.

poor little tree is so smushed under that fence.
